The
most difficult aspect about learning how to
dance is taking the first lesson. Once you have
taken time out of your busy schedule to come
in for the first lesson, you will experience
dancing the fun and easy Fred Astaire way. If
you think you have two left feet and no rhythm,
just remember this: Everyone, including Fred
Astaire, started from the beginning!
If
you have considered taking dance lessons for
some time, our Introductory Special
can help you take the right steps towards becoming
the dancer you always wanted to be.
On your very first lesson you will be introduced
to the basic elements on which all dance patterns
are based. Dancing is like anything else. Once
you understand how it works, it’s easy! In your
second lesson we will review all the material
you were taught in your first lesson, and we
will make sure that you can actually dance the
patterns to music.
We
teach many dances you may use at weddings, company
parties, on cruises or at any other social events.
No matter whether you wish to become a confident
social dancer or a national competitor, we have
the programs and instructors to help you reach
your dancing dreams.
The
Fred Astaire System is a unique method of dance
instruction. The System is an exciting way for
you to gauge your progress in your dancing.
In addition to these social dance programs,
Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Canton offers superior
instruction in international Style, Exhibition
and Country Western.
Beginner
Program:
The Fred Astaire beginner lessons are designed
for the novice dancer who wishes to be introduced
to the primary steps which are the buildings
blocks of most social dances. You will be exposed
to the step patterns of a selection of popular
dances and experience the fun, challenge and
excitement that dancing provides.
The Beginner lessons are the first step to becoming
an accomplished social dancer. There are also
numerous social and
health benefits associated
with dancing.
